Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a simple tap-in, before Désiré Doué doubled the lead eight minutes later with a deflected effort.
Doué completed his brace in the 63rd minute, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added a fourth ten minutes later, running onto a through ball from Ousmane Dembélé. Substitute Senny Mayulu, on the pitch for only a few minutes, sealed the rout in the 86th minute with a low finish off the post. Romanian referee István Kovács oversaw a one-sided contest in which Inter rarely threatened Gianluigi Donnarumma's goal.
The final was played at the Allianz Arena in Munich in front of a reduced crowd of around 64,500, with PSG avenging their 2020 final defeat to Bayern Munich and capping a historic season under head coach Luis Enrique.
