Hapoel Tel Aviv beat GKS Katowice 2–0 in the first leg of the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League third qualifying round on 6 August 2026. Because of the ongoing security situation in Israel, Hapoel played the match at DVTK Stadion in Miskolc, Hungary, in front of an estimated 5,000 spectators.
Stav Turiel opened the scoring in the 5th minute, and Roei Alkukin doubled the lead in the 18th minute, with both goals coming after defensive errors by the Polish side. Neither team scored again over the remaining hour of play.
The second half was briefly interrupted in the 77th minute after a spectator entered the pitch. The match was overseen by French referee Bastien Dechepy. The return leg will be played in Katowice on 13 August.
