The first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League playoff round between Tromsø IL and Brighton & Hove Albion ended 0–0 at Romssa Arena in Tromsø on 20 August 2026. Neither team scored during the 90 minutes. Brighton created several opportunities and Jakob Haugaard made a number of saves for Tromsø, including an important intervention against Ibrahim Osman, who was making his Brighton debut.
