The Polish side opened the scoring in the 34th minute, when Jesús Imaz converted a penalty. Jagiellonia doubled its advantage just before half-time, with Jeremy Agbonifo scoring in the second minute of stoppage time after an assist from Norbert Wojtuszek. The hosts continued to control the tie after the break and extended their lead in the 62nd minute when Ibrahim Alhassan put the ball into his own net. Sergio Lozano completed the scoring in the second minute of stoppage time, finishing after an assist from Rodrigo Conceição. The 4–0 victory gives Jagiellonia an excellent advantage ahead of the second leg in Tbilisi and leaves Iberia facing a very difficult task in the return match.
