F91 DudelangeF91 Dudelange stands as one of the most successful and landmark football clubs in Luxembourg. The club was established in 1991 through a merger of three local teams from the town of Dudelange: Alliance Dudelange, Stade Dudelange, and US Dudelange. Combining the sporting legacies of its predecessors, the newly formed club quickly established itself as a dominant force in domestic football. Wearing yellow and blue, the team plays its home fixtures at the Stade Jos Nosbaum.
Since the late 1990s, F91 Dudelange has asserted unprecedented dominance over the Luxembourg National Division, accumulating 16 league titles and 8 Luxembourg Cups. Key figures shaping the club's rise include long-time benefactor Flavio Becca, whose investment modernized the club's infrastructure, alongside iconic players such as Luxembourg international winger Daniel da Mota and veteran defender Tom Schnell.
The club achieved international acclaim through its ground-breaking campaigns in UEFA club competitions. Under German head coach Dino Toppmöller, F91 Dudelange made history in the 2018–19 season by becoming the first-ever club from Luxembourg to reach the UEFA Europa League group stage, after eliminating CFR Cluj and Legia Warsaw in qualifying. The following season (2019–20), the club repeated the feat and recorded Luxembourg's first-ever group stage victory on September 19, 2019, beating APOEL Nicosia 4–3 in Cyprus with goals from Danel Sinani, Antoine Bernier, and Dominik Stolz.
These continental achievements reshaped the perception of football in Luxembourg. F91 Dudelange demonstrated that a club from a smaller nation could consistently compete on the European stage, combining its local roots with historic UEFA performances.
