Radomiak Radom officially trace their tradition back to 1910, although the club's post-war organisational structure was formally established in 1945. That earlier date relates to the founding of the Radomskie Towarzystwo Sportowe, whose legacy the club inherited after merging with the Radomskie Koło Sportowe in 1967. Today it is 1910 that appears in the club's official materials and is regarded as the symbolic starting point of Radomiak's history.
For most of its history, Radomiak remained a second-tier club, with the most notable episode of its pre-war and post-war tradition being a quarter-final finish in the 1946 Polish championship, played in a cup format. Fans had to wait until 11 August 1984 for the club's top-flight debut, when Radomiak beat Bałtyk Gdynia 3-0 in their opening match. The joy proved short-lived, however - after just one season and a 15th-place finish, the team dropped back to the second division. Over the following decades the club passed through every tier of Polish football, at times falling as low as the fourth division, and its best-ever result in the Polish Cup remains a quarter-final reached in the 2006/07 season, while the club was still competing at third-tier level.
The turning point came in the second decade of the 21st century. After years of steady rebuilding, Radomiak were promoted to the Ekstraklasa for the second time in their history in 2021, ending a 37-year wait - and this time the club established itself firmly among Poland's football elite. In their debut season back in the top flight, the team surprised supporters by finishing eighth, the best result by a newly promoted side in years. Known as the Zieloni (the Greens) for their distinctive green-and-white colours, the Radom side play their home matches at the Stadion im. Braci Czachorów on Struga Street, a venue expanded in stages in recent years.
