Virtus Acquaviva SS Virtus (Società Sportiva Virtus) is one of the most prominent and successful football clubs in San Marino, representing the municipality of Acquaviva. Founded in 1964, the club traces its footballing origins back to local sports initiatives in the 1920s. The team traditionally plays in distinctive green and black kit, earning them the popular nicknames Neroverdi and Virtussini.
For decades, the club remained a consistent presence in domestic competitions, but its true golden era arrived in the 2020s. SS Virtus transformed into a dominant force in Sammarinese football, claiming its first major silverware by winning the Coppa Titano in the 2022/2023 season after defeating Tre Penne in the final.
