Llapi Podujevo A fierce competitive spirit and deep roots in the Llap region define KF Llapi, one of the most traditional and historic football clubs in Kosovo. Founded on 5 July 1932 in Podujevo, the club has been a cornerstone of local identity for nearly a century. Traditionally competing in blue and white kits, the team earned the popular nickname Bardheblutë. Throughout decades of regional and unofficial competitions, the club served as a vital sporting pillar for the community.
During much of the 20th century, the team competed within the regional divisions of former Yugoslavia. The major turning point arrived in 2016 following the official recognition of the Football Federation of Kosovo by UEFA and FIFA. KF Llapi emerged as a driving force in the newly integrated Kosovar Superliga. The club's golden era unfolded under the long-serving head coach Tahar Batatina, who transformed the Podujevo side into a consistent contender for major domestic silverware. The club's honors list includes 2 Kosovar Cups (won in 2021 and 2022) and 1 Kosovar Supercup (2021). In the 2023/2024 season, the team also achieved a historic runner-up finish in the national championship.
The club's identity is inseparable from its home ground, Zahir Pajaziti Stadium in Podujevo. The venue is named in honor of Zahir Pajaziti, a prominent hero of the Kosovo Liberation Army. Following extensive modernizations, the stadium developed into a fortress famous for its passionate atmosphere generated by the loyal fan group Legjendat.
On the European stage, the blue-and-whites made their continental debut in the 2021/2022 UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers against Montenegrin side FK Podgorica. Another historic milestone occurred during the 2024/2025 UEFA Europa League qualifiers, where the team faced Polish side Wisła Kraków. Key players who contributed significantly to the club's modern success include standout performers such as Kastriot Selmani, Valmir Veliu, and Ilir Blakçori.
