Puskás Akadémia FC are one of the youngest clubs in the Hungarian top flight, but their name is closely associated with the greatest legend in Hungarian football history. Founded in 2005 in Felcsút as an academy focused on developing young players, the club eventually established itself as a top-flight side in its own right. Puskás Akadémia have regularly competed near the top of the Nemzeti Bajnokság I and have also entered European qualifying competitions in recent years.
